The History of Symbiosys

Symbiosys was started in April 2001 with the strategy of creating a sustainable entity capable of supporting a diverse client base through the delivery of consistent, ongoing business value.

In August 2002 we established an office in Kentucky, USA, to expand our service offering and develop a platform for international client support. Our strategy is now to further improve our value creation through leveraging our widened experience base and component delivery framework.

We are proud of our relationships with our clients and are dedicated to the provision of the best possible service and support. This can be seen at BMW where we are achieving vast process and information availability improvements through custom software development. At Investec we have provided development & integration services on their transaction portal that have achieved performance, functional & security improvements. At one of our Chemical Industry clients we provided analysis and development services on a system that issues over US$12,000,000 in cheque payments per year.

At present we have 10 active clients in Automotive, Financial Services, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Media industries in 5 centres in South Africa and the USA.
